Red Events Owner, Gill Boyd - has the unique perspective as a person who has been involved in events from every facet and viewpoint. Starting her career as an event planner at a large venue, from there 23 years ago, she started my own decor company to fill a hole that was in the Calgary decor market. She then became the General Manager of a large venue which later went on to take over on her own. An opportunity came to buy a large decor company, Gill took the initiative to buy this

and merge her smaller decor company into this one. In the years that have followed Gill has acquired the inventory of a large event furniture rental company, two linen and decor companies and many other things along the way.
